Nazava did not just provide drinking water for the Summit, we also provided 10 schools in Bandung Regency with Nazava Water Filters as part of our Safe Drinking Water for Schools program. So far Nazava has provided nearly 500 primary schools with safe drinking water in Lebak, Pandeglang, and now Bandung Regencies, impacting 80,000 school children with safe drinking water. Having safe drinking water for children at schools is critical for learning and reduces plastic waste at schools.

The Summit closed with Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna receiving a Nazava water filter from Nazava co-founder Guido van Hofwegen. Mr. Supriatna thanked Nazava for contributing to this years City Sanitation Summit and for providing water filters to schools. The event garnered much interest from other regional governments across the Indonesia, serving as a model for how to improve drinking water access and reduce plastic waste in communities across Indonesia.

Thank you Mr. Supriatna and AKKOPSI for hosting a great event. We look forward to continuing to work together to provide safe drinking water for all of Indonesia!
